Orente

This is just what I might wear for Valentine's Day... With just enough red details for me especially the red lipstick which I think (for me) is essential for Valentine's Day.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone.
Doesn't matter if you're in a relationship or not, spread love to everyone around you but most of all love God with all your heart and love yourself.
Celebrate love all year round and not just today.
I titled this post after one of my favourite Nigerian love songs, Orente by Adekunle Gold.
I think this outfit could've easily been part of the video, what do you think?

Maxi Love: The Unconventional

Not every year wear red for Valentine's :)
Be inspired to try other colours too. I love this dress especially because of the detail on the shoulder, makes me feel very Lady Gaga-esque with my shades LOL!

Maxi Love: Valentines Day Red

Love this dress and it's perfect if you're one of those people who has to wear red (or it's derivatives) for Valentine's Day. This is a darker red option for you.

Never Enough Red

Yes, it's this red skirt again.
You know I love skirts, pencil skirts, skater skirts, maxi and midi, Love them all.
The second thing I love as much as skirts would be lace and I'm crazy about this red lace top. I really love this look not just because of the bright colour (for a Valentine's day date), but the style of skirt is very forgiving and it's going to hide your belly after all that eating.
The lace top and sparkly earrings make the outfit look a little more dressy, don't forget the red lips!
I decided to break all the red with these cute blue heels I got from Kampke, I think it looks almost neutral with all the red going on.

White Lace

I ended up wearing this outfit for valentines day! Two snaps for three day valentines celebrations!
I'd have gotten into more detail about what we actually did but most of it consists of annoying Lagos traffic so I'd rather not. But the best part of it is you're stuck in traffic with someone you like and not driving alone wasting time trying to get to the person, the worst! So in the end, time isn't really wasted if you're spending it together.
It was an amazing weekend really especially cuz it also marks a year since I've been with my bestie :) #happydays It's also the first time I've been in a relationship for that long, I guess I was just always with the wrong person, not that I've been in a lot of relationships but he's perfect for me and I'm praying things only get better... eish moving on.
My top is from Zara, skirt from Asos and shoes from Next.
Love how the shoes add a little something extra to the outfit with the leopard print, they have to be my fave pair & the other white ones I bought from Next as well. Thinking of buying more comfy heeled sandals like this pair, it's a long term investment cuz I'll never get tired of them especially because their comfortable and it's all evident from the amount of times they keep reappearing on my blog.
I'll do a separate post about my hair, I don't know why it's when my hair is rough and old that it then starts to look nicer to the rest of the world and worse to me... I'd go on but I'll save it for my next post.

Hello Love in Yellow

We all know I'm all about the midi skirts, pencil, pleated, skater style, any style, I love them all!
I'm not saying curvy girls don't look good in other things but personally I think skirts fit me way more than any thing else I have in my closet these days. If it's not a T-shirt and jeans day for me then I'm definitely wearing that T-shirt with a midi skirt.
I had absolutely no idea what to call this post but banana just seemed best cuz of the green shoes you know, it being a fruit/plant. But there was mellow yellow, banana, make like a banana and split... what else was there? Yello'?!?!. But recently I heard Tiwa's song Love in yellow and I just love how she says "Hello love in yellow"
Valentines day is upon us and this is a cute date outfit if you ask me so feel inspired to copy away and be the one-colour-girl or your boo's Love in yellow for the day! Do put on proper makeup and may be a light pink lip. I just have lip gloss on, nothing special.
Again as I do, apologies for not blogging consistently and God bless you for always checking back.
Zara top and shoes, Asos skirt & Oscar de la Renta earrings.

Valentines Day

This post is clearly coming really late but better late than never so I'm still gona post it anyway.
Inspiration for my outfit was my darling Solange, I'm in love with her & her style.
My picture isn't very clear but you get the gist.

The girls and I went to Champans for dinner, its a seafood restaurant. I love seafood so I kind of OD'd on it with Mirabel and ordered the seafood platter, see pictures after the cut.

So that's Mirabel, Eki, Ife, Demi & Arin :)
