"What is Unseen is Eternal"

2 Corinthians 4:17-18

For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

Hey guys! I know I didn't blog today but I thought I'd just leave you with a little something, I came across that today and thought I'd share. I went out with my husband and the canterbury clique yesterday and it was fun! I'm so tired! First time I've actually done anything for halloween and I didn't look to bad. I will do a proper post on it later but yh like I said it was fun, the most fun I've had on a night out in canterbury in a while cuz things always dull here like its almost like a curse. Maybe it's me cuz I don't go out often and when I do go out I pick shitty nights *shruggs* duno but last night was fun! (I've said that like 3 times now lol).

Speak soon. x

Tea, Studs & Spikes

Hey! Hope everyone had a great weekend mine was ok did a bit of work and play.

I went out with my canterbury husband Mirabel aka Mira Mico Mimi Mama etc lol and we took these pictures way before the weather became rubbish. We had a little posh english moment at the coffee shop with the tea, gisting about everything and reading magazines and all that... Good times!
One of my course mates asked me to be her stylist and help her shop for a new workwear wardrobe. She has never liked the business/corporate look on women but she's now accepted the fact that she'll need it after uni and asked me to help her. I was shocked because I've actually never done anything like that but she washed me and said she likes me style and all that so I decided to help her, no fee of course. Luckily for me my Elle magazine came with a pull out for workwear so that should help.

Btw... This post is photo heavy! :)

Felabration!

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti is a Legend. I don't even know where to start we all know how amazing his music is and how much he influenced Music today both in Africa and the rest of the world. Felabration is an annual festival that goes on for about a week in Lagos celebrating all things Fela. This year Asa performed and I absolutely LOVE her and her performance was amazing, it's obvious that she's loved by everyone!

I LOVE Mos Def (Yasiin Bey) as well and I cam across this video of him performing "Water No Get Enemy" on of Fela's popular hits. I loved the fact that one of my fave rappers went in on one of my fave Fela songs, he even spoke the pijin! Watch that video here  I never knew there was a shrine in Chicago they had the dancers as well, Fela was popular for his booty shaking dancers lol. I'd like to go there one day... After I've gone to the one in Lagos sha.
Hope you enjoyed the videos as much as I did!
